New benefits due to innovative production processes. Innovation technology Production processes allow the development of new customer benefits from foods and beverages: healthier, more aromatic, longer shelf life, more natural/ Technology specialists from Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) collaborate around the table during the UNICO innovation projects right from the start.. We are convinced that consumer knowledge, marketing and food technology equal more TOGETHER than they do apart. Therefore, it is the established philosophy of UNICO to brainstorm and work around one table with representatives of these disciplines when discussing innovations in the food and beverage sector. The Institute of Food and Beverage Innovation (ILGI) of Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) is a UNICO project partner. As part of the innovation projects by UNICO, the Institute contributes its expertise in technology to the consultation process in the following areas:
Prof. Tilo Hühn (Ph.D.), Manager of the Beverage and Aroma Research Centre of ILGI is also on the executive board of UNICO-first AG.
